Important info about booking Entertainment for your event


PARTY PACKAGES

We suggest packages for your event based on the number of children invited to your event.  The length of the party and inclusions will often depend on how many guests you are  expecting. Some extra charges and changes to activities may apply if your group number grows by more than 5 participants.

Larger groups may need a second entertainer to ensure smooth transitions and activities are moved through in a timely manner. This is to ensure you get the best value, maximum engagement with the guests and memorable moments out of your time with your entertainer/s. 


Booking Time and  Restrictions

  • It's best to book your entertainment at least 30 minutes AFTER your guests are due to arrive. You will get the most out of your entertainment if all the guests have arrived, and make your characters entrance more captivating!

    eg. If you post 11am on your invitations we suggest having your entertainer arrive at 11:30am.

  • Our entertainers often have more than one booking in a day which means we need to leave on time to factor in travel.

  • We are unable to book parties between 1pm- 2pm as we use this hour to travel between events. If you do insist on booking an entertainer between these time, your final package price may be higher to factor in peak timing. You will be notified at the time of your booking and prior to making your deposit.

  • Please ensure if you need any photos on the day of your event or would like to cut the cake with your entertainer, to do so at least 10 min prior to your booking time finish. We suggest you feed the guests before your entertainment arrives to make the most of your time booked with your entertainer.

Location

We are happy to travel to your location within a certain travel radius (45 mins from Wollongong). We are Wollongong base company- any travel allowances will be added to the final booking cost and you will be notified  at the time of your booking and prior to making your deposit.  

We can attend events at your home  or parks, botanic gardens, community centres, play centres and cafe's.

We hold public liability insurance and are happy to provide details on request.

What do we need on the day?

If the party is being held outside we will need shade cover, and during the cooler months it's best to do some games inside to keep your guests warm.

 Similarly, if it is raining, clear some space under a pergola, in a living room or even in a garage space to keep the guests warm and dry.

 Most  activities work best outside with extra space  however can still be done inside if there is poor weather with different and better suited indoor activities.  It also helps us if you provide table space for us to set up some of our activities. 

 Payment

Bank Transfer details and or an electronic invoice  will be sent as an email as soon as we have received all of your booking information. All inquiries are considered tentative and held for 48 hrs only or until we have received a deposit or payment in full. 

It will contain options on how to pay a deposit to secure your booking. We accept payment via direct transfer or Paypal. Please let us know if you would prefer to pay via bank transfer and we can send you the details. 

 Any bookings made within 2 weeks of the party date, we request full payment to secure your booking.  

CASH PAYMENT: As there are too many little eyes on the day this often ruins the magic - Best to pay via the invoice to make for a smoother party day!

 


CANCELLATION

We urge you to Post Pone rather than cancel. Once your deposit has been received, it is non-refundable- this is explained upon booking. We appreciate your understanding as we have made this our priority to specially reserve your requested Character/ Entertainer for your date and time.

We are more than willing to reschedule/ Post Pone your party in advance if you can please give us as much notice as possible. If you cancel your party less than 7 days away from your event you risk losing the full amount of your booking fee. However you can redeem the value of these funds as explained below.

If you are unable to have a “party” due to ANY circumstance : we can still help you redeem the value of funds paid through Fairytale Mail delivery options for Character gift deliveries.

We can also offer entertainment via Childcare visits, surprise home visits with close family, entertainment for other celebrations such as Christmas parties Fairytale Mail Character deliveries.

If your entertainer cannot attend your event due to extenuating circumstances (illness or other)- we will do our best to find an alternate entertainment service to be there on the day plus also offer a 50% refund. If we cannot find someone in time we offer 100% full refund and a FREE booking to the same value of your original booking. This will only be offered at Fairy Fantasy Parties discretion.


WET WEATHER

We suggest you have a backup wet weather plan instead of cancelling your event. Please notify our office or your entertainer on the morning of your booking if you are changing the location last minute.  Once your deposit has been received, it is non-refundable. If you wish to cancel and not reschedule your party and it is less than 14 days before your booked date, you will lose your full deposit. We appreciate your understanding as we have made this our priority to specially reserve your requested Character/ Entertainer for your date and time.
